The village is mentioned in written sources in 1766. From 1795 it became part of the Russian Empire.
In 1858 the village was part of the Antopol volost and had 123 revision souls (state peasants). Archival disputes about land division are recorded in RGIA documents.
During WWII the village suffered losses; several residents were killed or did not return from the front.
