In written sources it was mentioned in 1905 as an estate in Osowiec parish, Kobryn district, Grodno province. There were 8 inhabitants.

From 1921 to 1939 it was part of Poland, Drohiczyn district, Polesie Voivodeship.

From 1939 it was part of the BSSR, Drohiczyn district, Pinsk region. It was a farm with 147 inhabitants. From 15.01.1940 it was in Drohiczyn district, from 12.10.1940 in Starosielsk village council.

During the Great Patriotic War 4 inhabitants of the village died, 1 at the front. Since 1954 it has been part of Brest region, since 1965 in Drogichin village council. In 1960 there was a farm with 71 inhabitants, in 1970 — 85 inhabitants, in 1995 — 21 yards and 48 inhabitants.
