Karlowicze is mentioned in 1554 as a courtyard belonging to the Kiezgajl family, from 1558 to the Vilna chapter. In 1558 in the invetar of the Borodino parish Karlowicze is mentioned:
“land … of that Lithuanian village”, from which they gave ‘three buckets of honey and all other payments’.
In 1588 there were 3 houses in the village, which paid a tax of 3 kapa and 1 grosz Lithuanian.
Since 1795 it was a part of the Russian Empire, in Kobryn district, Slonim district, since 1797 Lithuanian, since 1801 Grodno province. The village is on Schubert’s map of 1826-1840:

In 1890 the folvark as part of the Zakoziel estate belonged to Kalikst Orzeszko. In 1905 the folvark in Wolowiel parish, Kobryn district, Grodno province. There were 60 inhabitants. In the archive RGIA F. 899 Op. 1 Д. 425, for 1894 there is a record:
Certificate issued by the bailiff of the Grodno District Court for Kobryn u. Grodno province, on the entry of gr. Bobrinska (née Polowcewa) N.A. in possession of the estates Zakoziel and Belin with the folklore Wolowiel and manor houses Karlowicze, Dosznik and Diatlowicze in 1894.
Also in RGIA F. 899 Op. 1 Д. 454, the latest date, but most likely earlier, April 14, 1916. There is a second entry and renaming Karlowicze:
Letter from Wolfring M.E., Kobryn district leader of the nobility, gr. Bobrinsky (née Polowcewa) N.A. about the desirability of renaming her estate Karlowicze [Kobrin district, Grodno province].
From 1921 to 1939 in Poland, Wolowiel commune, Drohiczyn district, Poleskie voivodeship. In 1921 the folwark had 3 courtyards and 31 inhabitants. On the Polish map WIG:
From 04.12.1939 in the BSSR, in Drohiczyn district, Pinsk region, Karlowicze colony. There were 27 households and 127 inhabitants, there was an elementary school. From 15.01.1940 in Drohichin district, from 12.10.1940 in Karolin village council. The village is on the map of RKKA:

In the Great Patriotic War 3 inhabitants of the village died. Since 1954 in Brest region. In 1960 the village was in Popina village council, 132 inhabitants, in 1970 - 85 inhabitants, in 1995 - 18 yards and 37 inhabitants.
