The village has been known from written sources since the 18th century. It was mentioned in 1778 as part of the Drohiczyn County, with 9 households and 50 inhabitants, and a working tavern.
From 1795, it was part of the Russian Empire, in the Kobryn district, Slonim district, from 1797 in the Lithuanian district, and from 1801 in the Grodno province. The village on Schubert’s map of 1832:

In 1858, the village in the Drohiczyn volost, part of the Salowe rural community, had 75 revisor souls (state peasants) and belonged to the Ostrowki estate of the landowner Osip Bogurski. In 1905, the village had 171 inhabitants. The village on the one-verst map:

From 1921 to 1939, it was part of Poland, in the Drohiczyn gmina, Drohiczyn powiat, Polesie Voivodeship. In 1921, there were 13 households and 89 inhabitants. The village on the German military map kdwr:

From 1939, it was part of the Belarus SSR, with 38 households and 281 inhabitants. From October 12, 1940, it was part of the Sochowki village council, Drohiczyn district, Pinsk region. The village on the Red Army map:
During the Great Patriotic War, 15 residents died, 8 of them at the front. Since 1954, it has been part of the Brest Region. In 1959, the village was part of the Lipniki Village Council, with 167 residents. In 1970, it was part of the Drohiczyn Village Council, with 274 residents. In 1995, there were 74 households and 185 residents.
