The village of Brodek, first mentioned in available sources of information on Schubert’s map of 1826-1840. From written sources, it is mentioned in 1858 as a village in Imienin parish, Kobryn district, Grodno province. It was the center of the village community, there were 123 revision souls (state villagers), who from the 2nd half of the 19th century were subjects of the Torokanie monastery.
