Village of Hutowo

In written sources, Hutowo is mentioned as a village in the Pinsk Principality. In 1502, in a deed of gift from Prince Fiodor Iwanowicz Jaroslawicz of Pinsk and Princess Alena to the Cathedral of St. Demetrius in Pinsk: The people of Hutowo from the Pinsk region must pay the church 80 kopecks every year From the 16th to 18th centuries, it was located in the Pinsk district of the Brest Voivodeship of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.

Church in Hutowo

The current Church of the Intercession in the village of Chomsk was built in 1992. It was consecrated on February 25, 1993. The first mention of the church in Hutowo can be attributed to the time when there was a Uniate church in the area.
