Village Jamnik

The village on Schubert’s 1832 map: Also on the military topographic map of the Russian Empire for 1846-1863: In 1858, the village was in the Wolowiel volost, a gmina center in the Kobryn district, Grodno province, part of the Ludwinovo estate, which belonged to Kalikst Orzeszko. It had 54 inspectors (state-owned peasants). In 1890, together with the village of Galik, it comprised 13 dessiatinas of land. In 1905, the population was 127.
