The village was mentioned in 1785 in the “Geographical Dictionary of the Kingdom of Poland and Other Slavic Countries”, Vol. VIII: The village of Kublik from written sources is also mentioned during the construction of the Dnieper-Bug Canal in (1775-1848). Also thanks to the canal, the village gained an important territorial significance, which influenced its economic growth. Since 1795 in the Russian Empire, in Grodno Gubernia.
