Our village was originally formed from the Burmaki farmstead, which was located above the village of Okropne. It is marked on Schubert’s map from 1826-1840: The village on the map of Odnoverstka: On the military-topographic map of the Russian Empire for 1846-1863, Burmaki, which is higher up on the map, was already named Okropne.
