Village Tolkowo

Tolkovo was mentioned in 1636 as a manor house within the Braszewicze estate. It belonged to the Wilno Catholic Chapter since 1559, when the estate was donated to the chapter by Bishop Walerian Protasiewicz. In 1636, the manor house consisted of 49 houses. This document also describes a complaint against Tolkowo peasants in 1639. The Lithuanian archives also contain a document regarding the sale of the Tolkowo estate in 1636. I also published this document in the adjacent article
