From written sources lime from the 16th c. In 1554 the tract was mentioned in Borodycze parish. From 1795 it was a part of Russian Empire, Kobryn district, Slonim, from 1797 Lithuanian, from 1801 Grodno province. The village on the military topographic map of the Russian Empire 1846-1863: In 1858 in Drohiczyn parish, Kobryn district. The Zaluze estate of Regina Ruszczyc.
