Village Zastawie

The village was mentioned in written sources in the 16th century. In 1518 it was mentioned as “Polje Zastavie”, in the middle of the lands of Bezdziez village, when considering the complaint of the Pinsk prince Fiodor Iwanowicz Jaroslawicz against the canons of the Trok church. In 1783 the village in Bezdziez key, Pinsk district, Brest voivodeship, Grand Duchy of Lithuania. From 1795 in the Russian Empire, in Kobryn district, Slonim district, from 1797 Lithuanian, from 1801 Grodno province.
